Both of us have loved Montana ever since visiting individually years ago. Drew visited Big Sky and Yellowstone Park on a family vacation. Tiffany traveled by train to the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in high school on a mission trip with her church youth group helping Habitat for humanity build and restore homes for the local Native American Indians. We both have loved Montana ever since, and we have been wanting to go out there as a couple for quite some time!!
As wedding planning conversations progressed, we knew we wanted to get married in the mountains of Montana. We had a pretty good idea of the location where we wanted to share our vows, but we had never been there together. So, last August we took a trip to Montana. We flew into Bozeman and spent the afternoon walking around the town, had some lunch and checked out the shops. We then took a drive to Helena, and spent a night there before getting up early to head north to Flat Head Lake, which is where we had our cabin for the week. On the drive from Helena to Flat Head Lake we got to see how beautiful the backcountry of Montana was. Pictures just don't do it any justice!! During our trip we did a lot of driving and hiking through Glacier National Park (GNP). One of the best days we had was when we hiked to Hidden Lake in GNP. At the bottom of the hike there is a breathtaking lake where we could sit and really take in the beauty of this magical place. It was such a perfect day!! The sky, the sun, the mountains, the water and the absolute peace and quiet is just indescribable! That's when we knew for sure that this was where we wanted to begin our first day together as Mister and Missus Bryant.
There was only one thing missing during this whole trip, and that was being able to share all of this beauty and serenity of "the last best place" with our family and friends. We know that those who will get to share in our special day with us will also fall in love with Montana.
Tiffany and I are so excited to say "I do," and to create even more unforgettable memories with our family and friends who we love dearly. These are some photos from our adventure out west last summer. We cannot wait to share the majestic mountains with you!
