The average Temperature is 70 degrees during the day and 40 degrees at night.

Our experience is that there is no cell service in the National Park.

Pray Lake is approximately 1 hour 48 minutes from Whitefish. We would suggest allowing extra time as the roads can be congested with tourists.

No, Glacier National Park only allows four chairs at most of the wedding locations within the Park. As the ceremony will be on the shoreline of Pray Lake, we have opted to not include any chairs. We do not anticipate the ceremony being longer than 20 minutes.

Our plan at this time is to not have a wedding reception following the ceremony. Due to the remote location of the ceremony at Pray Lake and our desire to have photos taken before and at sunset, time will not allow for a reception to follow. Our sincere hope is that while you are dressed up, that you take this unique opportunity to enjoy Glacier NP and take amazing photos with friends and family.

We've heard the same thing and have actually seen a couple! Yes, we highly recommend purchasing bear spray if you are planning to do any hiking. If you plan to rent a house/cabin - check there first as often other guests leave the bear spray behind for someone else to use. If you do not find any, local stores have it. **Note: You cannot fly with the bear spray as it is under pressure and the airlines will not allow you to have it in your suitcase.
